Constructed as a temporary pavilion for the Osaka 2025 World Expo. Designed by Sui Fujimoto Architects referencing the Japanese Nuki joint, which historically required no nails to fasten. The largest mass timber building in the world, the Grand Ring is currently being deconstructed with hopes of future material reuse.
